The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Sport Management Research provides a curriculum designed to equip aspiring sport management scholars with specialized expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in research methods, data analysis, and independent research, preparing them for success in both academic and professional endeavors. Through a combination of theoretical and hands-on courses, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of research principles and their application to sport management culminating into the completion of a master thesis or a research project.
Course Requirements: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 to graduate from the program. Each required class must be completed with a grade of a C- or better. Graduate students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) below 2.75 will be placed on academic probation.
