River Conservation and Management
Upon completion of the certificate program, students will be able to:
- Apply a range of scientific methods and disciplinary perspectives through scientific inquiry, modeling and real-world experience in addressing pressing environmental issues.
- Employ a systems approach to analyze how human and environmental systems influence land and water resources.
- Assess and articulate the scientific evidence surrounding key environmental issues and evaluate ongoing efforts to mitigate, restore, and enhance ecosystems and their services.
