This minor investigates how trees and forests function as essential components of the urban ecosystem. Building from the foundations of tree identification, planting, and care, to the management of urban tree canopy across suburban and city landscapes, students explore how urban forestry and green infrastructure contribute to environmental sustainability, economic vitality, and social well-being.
