Certificate Learning Outcomes
Students completing this graduate certificate will be able to:
- Explain the concepts of syntactic or phonological theory, and analyze relevant linguistic data by using the basic tools of phonological or syntactic theory.
- Apply their knowledge of phonological or syntactic theory to the study of language in use or in the description of the world’s languages.
