Healthcare Administration
Nature of the Program
The Public Administration Department offers a healthcare administration graduate certificate for students who are interested in a career in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, health departments, nursing homes, mental health services, home health services, nonprofit voluntary agencies, health research foundations, public and private insurance, and a variety of governmental agencies. The certificate program is available to students pursuing a degree other than the MPA degree or it can be pursued alone.

Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Administration
The Public Administration Department offers a healthcare administration certificate for students who are interested in a career in a variety of healthcare settings. Candidates must meet the university requirements for admission. The GRE is not required for admission to this program.

Graduation requirements: Students must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students must also earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum grade of B- in all courses applied to the certificate.
Certificate Requirements
Each student must successfully complete 15 credit hours, including four required courses and one elective.
